Luzía is the story of a firefly whose world turns upside down after losing her firefly glow while fending off a hairy scary
spider. Without her glow, the night transforms into a place she no longer feels safe. Feeling scared and different, Luzía, seeks permission from a Queen bee to live in her hive with the other bees, while she adapts to being without her family and without her light.

How does Luzía cleverly transform herself from a firefly into a bee? Will she ever be able to reunite with her firefly community?

This story, intended for children ages 4-8, fosters the idea of overcoming adversity with creativity and courage, emphasizing the values of racial acceptance and the primacy of family.
